About
I got my first computer — a Commodore VIC 20 — as a teenager in the early '80s and never looked back. Since then, I've built billing systems for ISPs, shipped the first mobile app for a Gannett property, led frontend architecture for a startup, and spent a decade in enterprise consulting.
Now I'm doing the most interesting work of my career: combining decades of full-stack development experience with modern AI tooling. I build AI agents, integrate LLMs into real products, and help businesses figure out where AI actually makes sense — and where it doesn't.
I'm based in Two Rivers, Wisconsin. I work remotely and believe the best code solves real problems for real people. When I'm not building, I'm spending time with family and friends or on the golf course.

Started programming on a Commodore VIC 20 as a teenager and never stopped. Studied Computer Science and Business Administration at UW-Platteville, then followed curiosity wherever it led — from owning a restaurant to managing IT at Channel Communications to programming sprinkler systems during the construction of Whistling Straits Golf Course.
Internet Systems Manager
Byte Head / Provident Technologies
Joined Byte Head after they acquired the company where I was working as a field tech. Grew into the Internet Systems Manager role, designing and maintaining the server infrastructure, billing systems, and provisioning tools that scaled the ISP from around 200 to over 5,000 customers in under three years.
Web Applications Manager
Gannett / The News-Press
Managed the web team at The News-Press in Fort Myers, Florida, overseeing a site that averaged over 13 million page views a month. Built Hurricane Hub — the first mobile app shipped by any Gannett property. Also created a tool that let reporters upload spreadsheets and automatically generate searchable databases with web front ends woven into their online stories.
Enterprise Contractor
Bridgevine, Infor, ADP, Schneider National, ZyQuest
Spent six years contracting for enterprise companies across the Southeast and Wisconsin. Built real-time SAAS interfaces at Bridgevine, contributed to Infor's award-winning Ming.le platform, led a team at ADP converting legacy HR applications, delivered a customer-facing freight scheduling app at Schneider National, and built Angular and Ionic SPAs at ZyQuest.
Lead Developer / Applications Architect
Dodles Inc.
Led the architecture for three products: Dodl.es for drawing and animation, and Hashta.gr and Prospecti.ng for social media research. Built the full stack — React Native mobile apps, Node.js APIs, and serverless infrastructure on AWS Lambda with DynamoDB. Also set up a Cardano blockchain node and did NFT development.

Led frontend teams at two major healthcare companies. At Florida Blue, managed a team of 7-10 React developers building an enterprise platform for contract management. At Centene, led 7 developers on a multi-tenant SAAS platform with HIPAA compliance and white-label customization.

Built this AI-driven portfolio site you're looking at, as well as an autonomous AI agent that runs on its own Linux machine. Building GameTrack.golf, a mobile golf app. Architected an NFT-based sticker system for the My Stage mobile app, starting on Cardano and migrating to Polygon. Consulting on AI integration for businesses — helping them figure out where AI actually delivers value and where it doesn't.

Autonomous personal AI agent
Personal AI agent built on Claude Code. Runs as a systemd service with Slack and email adapters, heartbeat system, Supabase memory, and SecurityShield. Demonstrates real-world AI agent architecture.
